The rating is built from five checks run against your actual 15, not a generic player list. First, your fixture run over the next six gameweeks — who's facing the top six, who's got a soft patch. Second, whether your in-form players are backed by the underlying numbers: a striker outscoring his expected goals is due a dip, one undershooting it is due a correction.

Third, your defensive structure — clean sheet odds across your back line, and whether you're overexposed to one leaky team. Fourth, your bank and squad value: dead money parked on the bench, or a transfer you can't actually afford to make properly.

The fifth check is the one most tools skip: Elite Pulse. It compares your squad against what the top 1,000 managers in the world are doing right now — who they're captaining, who they're selling, where they're breaking from the template. That's the signal a generic AI chatbot can't give you, because it isn't looking at real squads, it's guessing from training data.

Getting a verdict takes under a minute — no screenshots or spreadsheets:

That's why a team sitting on a good rank can have a poor rating (the squad that got you there has gone stale), and a team with a modest rank can have a strong rating (you've just wildcarded into a sharp squad). Check your rating before you make transfers, not your rank.
